Website Templates
These templates are a good, basic start to building a new website. They are the four most common website layouts. Simply download them and build on them to meet your requirements. More comprehensive and multi-page templates with example images and content will be added here in the future.
These templates have been tested in IE 5.5+, Opera 7.0+, Firefox 2.0+ and Google Chrome 2.0+.
2-Column Fixed Width
- Two columns with fixed widths
- Strict doctype declaration
- Page has a fixed width of 980px
- Header defaults to 100% of the page width
- Left column has a fixed width of 200px
- Content column has a fixed width of 780px (980px - 200px)
- Footer defaults to 100% of the page width
- Footer sits below the bottom of the longest of the two columns

- Two columns
- Strict doctype declaration
- Header defaults to 100% of the page width
- Left column has a fixed width of 13 ems
- Content column expands & contracts to fill all remaining width
- Footer defaults to 100% of the page width
- Footer sits below the bottom of the longest of the two columns
